It's a Jungle Out There

Hi to all my Scrappin' buds and blogger friends out there in blogland, facebook, and where ever else or how ever you come by, I am happy to have you visit and I would like to announce that this is my official first posting as a new Design Team Member for PAUSE DREAM ENJOY, which is really a great and fun place as the girls are super duper nice and they are very, very, talented.  So now that my introduction is over here is my creation for........IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE!!

Her name is Safari Daisy from Digital Designs by Looby Lou and she seems to have made friends with a couple of Jungle friends already.  This creation was a handful as I fussy cut the stump and embossed with a wood grain embossing folder, then fussy cut the giraffe, monkey and Sarah and the trees and leaves were cut with our Zing.  But it all went together well, and I think Safari Daisy will be enjoying her visit.

Oh, what a great treat!!!

I am participating in the FRESH BREWED DESIGNS CHALLENGE  and so what image did I use, well, coffee and a sweet treat of course. So here is my entry, hope you like it.  I thought it was quite delish!!  LOL

Wedding Wishes to a great couple.

A very good friend that I have met through our church is getting married at the end of the month, so I decided to use my lacy punches and do a card that I think they will really like.  This is a second marriage for each, but they knew one another many years ago and each went their separate ways, married, had families, and now they are each alone again and I am not sure how they got back in touch, but they did and things were just like where they had left off.  So now, they will take the vows and with God's love and help they will live happily ever after.  So here is my card that I made.

It is a 6x6 card made of 8 layers of cardstock.  I used one of my Martha Stewart's punch around the page stamps, added a beautiful array of blossoms, tulle and pearls, and the sentiment "A Wedding Wish for You".  On the sentiment piece inside I also punched just the corners and printed a very beautiful sentiment.

So, that's my card for the day and now it's time to close down the studio until tomorrow.

At the Seaside

Hello again, I am posting a cutie playing on the beach,an image received from our Generous Sponsor this week, The Stamping Boutique, named Beach Baby, for the The Crafty Pad Challenge and perhaps she's on a beach on vacation having the time of her life in the sand.

 I hope you enjoy this card as I used an old technique, but still a lot of fun to play with.  So here is my creation.

I decided to use the Shaker Box and just let the little one have fun with all the shells and sand.  After all, I still enjoy playing on the beach looking for shells and building all sorts of things with the sand.

WE CAN DO IT ! ! !

Good Morning my friends, glad you stopped by to see the creation that I made for LINK UP FOR PINK for your enjoyment.  I hope you enjoy it and if so, please leave me a love comment to keep my inspiration and mojo flowing.  I really enjoy your visits and hope you come back often.
Well, lets get to the design, "We Can Do It", and I think if we all pray and hope and have faith, together we will find a cure for Breast Cancer.

I do have something I woudl like to share with you.  My daughter Kelly and I went to Waffle House to have breakfast and as I was checking out the cashier was wearing a Breast Cancer Awareness scarf around her neck and I commented how nice I thought that was and she said it was for her dad who had cancer.  Well, a gentleman sitting close by, said that is why my head is shaved.  I said, I'm sorry, are you going through Chemo?  He said, no, my wife had breast cancer and passed away in February and so I keep my head shaved in memory of her.  I was about in tears, but thought, Wow, what a wonderful caring husband she had to do this for her.  I hope and pray everyday that everyone that is going through cancer treatments gets great results and becomes a survivor. 
The stamp I used is "WE CAN DO IT" from Digi Doodle  Scrapbooking Society which has any type of products you need.

Sunset with Granny and PawPaw

 First of all, I would like to welcome all of my friends to PAUSE DREAM ENJOY CHALLENGES as this is my first pre-post as a NEW Design Team Member.  Okay, you can do the happy dance with me.  ; )  July 13th is my official date to begin.  wooo hooo  This is a great team to have fun with, they are some funny gals!

Now for my first creation, can't you just imagine Granny and PawPaw sitting out on the sandy beach, watching and listening to the waves rolling in, the birds getting ready to settle in for the night and then here comes the most beautiful sunset to end a fantastic day.  Gosh, I need to go find this place!  I made it sound so good, I'd like to go there often.  ; )

And then as always, good things have to come to and end. So with big smiles on their faces we get to know the reason for this special moment.  They have a little sentiment included here,
