You Got Mail !!

Hi, it's Joanie here with my post for Sunshine Mail Challenge .  I have to tell you it's going to be a short one as the old shoulder is at it again.  (Ouch!) Well, let's get going here, so here is my card and I hope you like it.

The image is from our generous sponsor, Deasy Designs and I think our little mailman is quite handsome.

I colored the images with my Copic Markers.
The patterned paper I used is from K & Company, "Sea Glass" and the card stock is from my stash.
I printed the sentiment which is also from Deasy Designs  and I just cut a banner from card stock.
You really need to visit our sponsor's store as they have some awesome digis.

I hope all of you scrappers will join in our Challenge and make a card that can be sent to the Sunshine Children and put a smile on their face and also you may be our next winner.  Click on the picture below and learn how you can help.  It's sooo easy and makes the children sooooo happy!

Thanks for visiting and I will be back soon and hope you will be too!

Until then,
Take care and God Bless.
Hugs

Sunshine Mail

I have made some cards for Sunshine Mail Children and added them to the few I had on hand from the last couple of blogs and am getting them in the mail on Monday!!  The children will be delighted I am sure.  There is a shortage of cards and we need your help.  Please take a few minute to make a few or send a few to make a child smile.  They look forward to getting their mail and packages that are sent.  Here is the group of cards that are on their way!!

It makes my heart sing just to think there will be 18 kids smiling when these arrive!  So please get your stash together and create a few.  Thanks for your help.

I Just Can't Keep a Secret!!!

I was trying not to tell my secret until Sept.1st, but....  okay, so I have a big mouth.  : ))  Well, I am so delighted, excited, ecstatic and just so dang happy that I was asked to be a Design Team Member for SUNSHINE MAIL!  So September 1st was supposed to be my debut, but I received a Special Request for a little fellow, Waylon, who is turning 4 and needed to get my card sent in to be there in time for his birthday.   Let's get started with the card and then more info about Sunshine Mail.

I thought it would be a great idea to make an Easel Card so it could be in view for Waylon to enjoy.

Materials Used:

CTMH paper pack (old but love it) I don't remember the name  :)
Balloons and Sun are from Make The Cut Gallery
The cute little puppy was a freebie, (thanks to the person that shared it)  from my stash in Photo Stream and was colored with my Copics
Spellbinders Dies to cut the Sentiment
I put the Puppy on a Wobble
The balloons are popped up and twine attached

I think Waylon will get a big smile on his face when the puppy wiggles trying to catch the balloons!!

Okay, back to Sunshine Mail which is awesome!  Please go to the site and read all the great things that are being done for children in need of help due to illnesses. being in hospitals, foster care and homeless.  You can help in so many ways, but just sending a card makes them happy!!!.  Gosh, lets get together here and help.  I know I have cards that I have made that are sitting aside, wasn't made for any special reason, just waiting to be sent to someone.  Well, scrappers get those out and send them to Sunshine Mail.  There is also a Sunshine Blog with a challenge going on and you can win a prize.  That's great too!!

Please read the material (click on the blue underlined words) make a card, be sure to send it with the donate form, and put a smile on a child's face.  There is only a few things you cannot do such as use glitter, sparkles, etc..   Thanks, in advance, for checking into everything I mentioned and I will be looking forward to hearing from my friends and all the scrappers in blogland.

Until next time,
Take Care and God Bless
