Let's Dance !!!

Hi again my scrappy friends!  I am so glad to be back and this time it's for Brown Sugar Challenge!
This is really a fun group and very talented.  So check in weekly to see all the great creations these gals are doing.  Okay, now to get to my creation and I just think he is adorable and can be found at Fine Arts By Robert Jackson and his name is Get It Grandpa!  I think he has it all under control kicking up his heels.

Here's a little bit of info on the scrappy things I used to make my card:

The Paper Pack, Die used for Grandpa, punches for sentiment are all from Stampin' Up.
I colored the image with Copic Markers
And of course my cute image is from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson and you must take a look to see all of the great digis.  You will spend lots of time looking and laughing because he has some senior digis and I fell in love with them.... I guess because I am old as mud they humor me a lot.  :-)
They have digis for all occasions.... an awesome place to shop!!!

Well, that's about all I have to say about my post and now it's your turn to get your scrapping goodies out and get your card entered in the Brown Sugar Challenge.... Our theme is Layers.   That's a great time to get those scraps you've been hoarding and make those layers.

Spring is in the Air

Hello, hello, hello!!!!  I am soooo glad to be back after all the moving from one state to another, the packing and unpacking and packing and unpacking.... yes, I have been on the move, but now in our own home.  Sometimes life gives you mountains to climb and my daughter and I made it to the top!! :-)   Our scraproom is finally almost organized... and I did say almost.... Whew!!

Just for a chuckle, the mover said, I have never seen so many boxes marked Scraproom... just what is a scraproom?  I explained.. he shook his head... still no idea.  LOL

Okay, lets get going with the card for Through the Purple Haze Challenge.  The lovely Fairy, Breena, is from Scrapper's Delights and I could just shop till I drop in  their shop.  Oh, what awesome digis and more!!!!  Here is my Fairy Breena and hope you like her.  Spring is definitely here.

A little bit about the materials used:
The card stock is from Close to My Heart
The flowers were from my stash, Recollections, Spare Parts, etc., all from either Hobby Lobby or Michaels.
Butterflies made using punch from Martha Stewart
I used a few pearls from my stash as well as the Stickles on her wings that do no show up very well in the picture.

And last but not least.... my digi from Scrapper's Delights.

 Scrapper's Delights

Well, first off all I want to apologize to Kim and Brown Sugar Challenges for not posting this card by the due date, as it was in my draft file.  I was having some issues with moving, packing and unpacking because we moved from Mississippi to Alabama and it just got to be soooo hectic I just honestly forgot.   Brown Sugar always has great challenges, so please stop by and visit.

A little update..............

Hi my friends, I just wanted to drop a line or two to let you know how things are going.   Surgeries on both cataracts done and doing fine.    The move from Mississippi to Alabama done, but still unpacking.    Company for Thanksgiving.... and again for Christmas, so we are doing our best to get in the scraproom and unpack... having withdrawals really bad.

So today my daughter, Kelly, and I got some storage cubes in place, unpacked a few boxes, but oh, so much more to go.  I think by the middle of next week we may be finally set up enough to start doing some scrapping!

I was going to post pictures of before and then after, but that will have to wait as my photos are not posting to my computer... iCloud is misbehaving.  BTW... I just got my computer up and all the updates as it was packed too.  LOL

January the blogs will start up again and we'll be off and running.  I am sad that a few of my blogs that I was on the Design Team such as Challenges 4 Everyone is silent, Sunshine Mail is redoing their complete set up, and Link Up for Pink is no longer either.  BUT Through the Purple Haze will be back in January and I will be having fun with my teamies for sure.  So I will be hunting for some new teams to join and hope I can find a couple of fun ones.

Well, that's it for now, and I would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!  God Bless all of you!!
