Celebrations for Holidays

Gosh, celebrations for Thanksgiving and Christmas are upon us already.  Where in the world did the year go?  Well, we at Link Up for Pink have also added another day for celebrating and that's "More Birthdays" as our theme.  Yes, we want to wish everyone a Happy Birthday and many more to come.  And in keeping with the theme, I just celebrated my birthday on November 20th and it was a biggy, no not the party, the numbers...  ; ) a big 72.  Whew, and the years seem to go by so much faster now.  So with all that said, here is my Birthday Card for everyone that had or will have a birthday and I hope you enjoy.

I used a cute stamp from Ippity Chick at Unity Stamps and also want to say they are the generous sponsor of Challenge 7.  Thanks Mary for supporting Link Up for Pink, you are awesome.

My stamp is made of cupcakes and I thought I'd make chocolate cupcakes and oh, notice the icing, yum, I used Liquid Applique and heat embossed it and it puffed right up.  The cardstock I used is from Michael's as well as the patterned paper, the ribbon is from my stash.

Well, it is time to get your stash out and start making your creation for
Link Up for Pink Challenge 7 which starts on November 22nd.

Beginning November 22nd 12:00midnight PST

We will be looking forward to more great creations and remember there is always a prize to be won.  Is it going to be YOU??

Girls please check your boobs often and get those mammograms!!

So until next time take care
and God Bless

Hello My Friends

I am back again to post a card for my friends out in blogland that are fighting the battle of breast cancer.  I hope and pray a cure is close by.  So here is my card for Link Up for Pink for Breast Care Awareness.

I chose white CTMH white cardstock for cardbase, the patterned paper is from Mambi Sheets Specialty Cardstock for Breast Cancer, the stamps used are from Just Rite "Be Strong", the seam binding is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the flowers are from Kaiser Scrapbook and Recollections.  Well, I think that's about it, I should have it all.  ; )

Until next time,
Take care and God Bless

Brighter Days

Good morning my friends, hope all is going well in your part of blogland.  Having a little rainy day here, but a great day for scrappin'.  I am posting once again for Link Up for Pink and hope you enjoy my CAS card today.

The cardstock I used was Pretty in Pink from Stampin Up, the embossing folder was from Provocraft, no name on folder, the white cardstock is from Close to My Heart, the patterned paper is from Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment was designed in Make the Cut and used Spellbinders Scalloped die to cut it out.

Well, my friends, that's all I have for today and I hope you enjoyed your visit.  Please come back often and you're more than welcomed to leave a comment.   You're my inspiration.

Until next time,
Take care and God Bless.
Hugs

You're So Special

Hi my friends, it's great to be back and sharing our cards and projects with Link Up for Pink to help provide support for those that are fighting the battle with breast cancer.  We just want to let you know that we're all here, praying, believing and hoping a cure is very close.  So here is my side step card that says.......

Yes, you "Are Sew Special" because of the strength, faith, courage and hope that all of you are having and putting forth during this journey of your life.

I thought the image was really cute and would put a smile on everyone's face.  She is a digi stamp from The Paper Shelter and is called the Cute Dress Maker and that she is.
The sewing die cut used on the bottom front is from Tim Holtz and is called the Sewing Edge.
All the images where colored with my Copic Markers that I absolutely love.
All other buttons, paper, and thread are from my scraproom stash and oh, gosh, there is lots of that on hand.   ; )

I want to remind all the Scrappers that the new Link Up for Pink  Challenge #7 will begin on November 22nd and we will be looking forward to seeing all your fantastic creations posted and the Sponsor for the Challenge is:   Ippity Chick - Mary's Creative Journey

Be sure to come back often to visit because I enjoy your company and besides, you're like family!!!

Well, my friends until next time,
Take care and God Bless,
Hugs
Joanie
