DT Calls!!! Challenges!!!

Make my day and send me a note saying "We Want You."  ; )   They are some really great challenges out there and hopefully I will win one.   They also have a few Designs Team Calls that are awesome and I would definitely like to become a DT member on those, so here goes.  Good Luck to ME!!!   lol  Here is my card I am submitting and I hope it's liked enough to get me where I would like to go.  Wish me luck!!

My cardstock is from very old stash, Chatterbox, Scrapbook Walls, Loft Following Vine.  I think it may be almost 10 years old and was given to me by my daughter when I first started making cards.   It's Vintage.  : )

The Ribbon is new!

Flower and pearls from my stash as well.

The Image is so cute and I got it over a year ago, but can't remember what her name is.

Well, time to move on and get all the blogs posted.

DT positions applying for:
Challenges 4 Everybody
Dreamtime Designs Craft

I would be so excited to be a Design Team Member as I love meeting ladies through the blogs that are interested in the same type of crafting I am.  I have made many friends.  I thoroughly enjoy cardmaking and do many different types.  Just depends on how the Mojo is flowing or if there is a certain sketch or product involved.  Just great for making a happy day.  And for some reason, give me a rainy day and oh, gosh, I don't leave the scraproom.  LOL  Now that's a scrappy day.  ;)  So ladies, here is my card and I hope you are pleased enough to give me a spot.  Thanks for the opportunity to apply.

Now for the Challenges I am entering this card in:

Anything Goes Challenge #100, in the Garden, Add some butterflies.
Craft Room Challenge - Something New - My pearl pins are new
Party Time Tuesdays - PPT #135, Anything Goes

I Just Can't Keep a Secret!!!

I was trying not to tell my secret until Sept.1st, but....  okay, so I have a big mouth.  : ))  Well, I am so delighted, excited, ecstatic and just so dang happy that I was asked to be a Design Team Member for SUNSHINE MAIL!  So September 1st was supposed to be my debut, but I received a Special Request for a little fellow, Waylon, who is turning 4 and needed to get my card sent in to be there in time for his birthday.   Let's get started with the card and then more info about Sunshine Mail.

I thought it would be a great idea to make an Easel Card so it could be in view for Waylon to enjoy.

Materials Used:

CTMH paper pack (old but love it) I don't remember the name  :)
Balloons and Sun are from Make The Cut Gallery
The cute little puppy was a freebie, (thanks to the person that shared it)  from my stash in Photo Stream and was colored with my Copics
Spellbinders Dies to cut the Sentiment
I put the Puppy on a Wobble
The balloons are popped up and twine attached

I think Waylon will get a big smile on his face when the puppy wiggles trying to catch the balloons!!

Okay, back to Sunshine Mail which is awesome!  Please go to the site and read all the great things that are being done for children in need of help due to illnesses. being in hospitals, foster care and homeless.  You can help in so many ways, but just sending a card makes them happy!!!.  Gosh, lets get together here and help.  I know I have cards that I have made that are sitting aside, wasn't made for any special reason, just waiting to be sent to someone.  Well, scrappers get those out and send them to Sunshine Mail.  There is also a Sunshine Blog with a challenge going on and you can win a prize.  That's great too!!

Please read the material (click on the blue underlined words) make a card, be sure to send it with the donate form, and put a smile on a child's face.  There is only a few things you cannot do such as use glitter, sparkles, etc..   Thanks, in advance, for checking into everything I mentioned and I will be looking forward to hearing from my friends and all the scrappers in blogland.

Until next time,
Take Care and God Bless
Hugs

Little Blue Bird of Happiness

Hi again my friends, I am back to do my post for Link Up for Pink for Challenge 16 which begins on August 22.  Gosh, the challenges are just rolling in so quickly.  I just enjoy creating my cards for support for Breast Cancer Awareness, which by the way, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we will have the biggest challenge ever.  Last year we had over 450 entries supporting those fighting the battle as well as the survivors and they won some awesome prizes given away by our most generous sponsors.   Okay, back to this post...  sort of get carried away at times.. ;)  I thought a little Blue Bird of Happiness and friend would be cheerful and it is one adorable image.  Here's my card and I'll tell you more about it in a few.

Isn't she the cutest digi ever?  You can find her and many, many more at My Besties by Sherri Baldy.

I also used:
Spellbinders die for the lattice background,
Seam Binding and flowers from my stash.
Butterflies - Stampin' Up Punch
Copic markers for coloring

But if you join in our Link Up for Pink Challenge 16  two winners will receive 5 images each.  Wowzers!! how terrific is that?  Thanks to Sherri for being so generous!

So scrappers get your mojo going and join in Challenge 16 and don't for get to save the date...

You don't want to miss this, it is Awesome!!

Pretty in Pink

Hello again, I know it's been a while since I posted here, but as you know we moved and set up the scrap room..  yeah right, more boxes showed up and back to square 1 finding a place for everything.  ; )
But all is good now, (hopefully no more surprise boxes) and I am back to share my thoughts and cards with everyone.

It's been a rainy week so far and today it's just pouring down, a great day for scrapping, right?  So here is my first card for the day and I hope you like it.

It's nothing really fancy, but I hope you all get the message.. There's Only One YOU!  So take care and do the self exam and get mammograms as early detection could save your live.

Remember to get your scrapping goodies together and get ready for our next Link Up for Pink Challenge 16 beginning on August 21st.

Let's see some support for those battling breast cancer and post your creations.   I donated all my cards to the Breast Cancer Center in Montgomery, Al., but since I moved to Mississippi I will look for the center here and do the same.  If anyone reading my blog would like a card, please email me at: www.classycardcorner.com and I will be more than happy to get it to you.  I hope it puts a smile on someone's face.

That's it for now, so until next time take care and God Bless.
