Let It Snow

Hi, welcome back!!  If this is your first time, well, come on in and browse around, glad to have you.  See something you like, please leave me some love.

I decided for my title to use, "Let It Snow."  Oh, how I wish we would have snow!  Way down south in Mississippi???   Oh, never, but one can wish.  :)

I have chosen an image from our generous sponsor Lacy Sunshine and selected Eleanor and Pickles Jolly Holly Elves and I think they are just adorable.  Heather is an awesome artist and when you go to her shop you just want to buy them all!!  So here is my card featuring Eleanor and her pet Pickles.

I decided to go with "Let It Snow" with the ice blue and brown colors and not get into the Christmas Reds and Greens just yet.  I should, because I have not started my Christmas cards... whew!! I am behind for sure!!

So I colored my image with Copics.
The papers used are from a pack I have been hoarding... :) My Mind's Eye, Signature Christmas by Jen Wilson.
Snow flakes with bling from Jolee's boutique and other snowflakes were punched with a really old snowflake punch that was on the shelf.  "No name brand".
The Flowers were from my stash as well.
Sentiment was punched with Stampin' Up punches
The embossing on the strip was from Sizzix

So that's about it for all the materials I used.  I hope you like my creation and if so, please leave me a comment as that is where I get most of my inspiration, from my friends and followers that visit with me.

If you would like to visit Lacy Sunshine and browse, just click on the picture below.  I hope you enjoy your visit.

I Love You

Hi everyone, I am back again to post another card, but this one is for Sunshine Mail.  These cards that are made are mailed to Sunshine Mail Foundation and given to children that are in the hospital, very ill, in foster homes or homeless.  You may want to check out the site as you can make other donations or even buy a card to send..  OOOOOOHHHH, did I say BUY?????   LOL .. NOT!!

Well, to get on with the card here goes..

As soon as I looked at this image it said... "I Love You This Much".  Just those little arms stretched out... yep, that's what it said.

The digi was donated by My Heart Pieces and is called "Give Me A Hug".  It sure is a cutie of a digi.  Check out their store, lots of great digis to choose from.
The Patterned paper is Echo Park, 6x6 Pad, Country Drive.
Sentiment is Spellbinders, Banners
Coloring was done with my Copics
Ribbon and other solid paper is from my stash.

Thank You!!

I am posting my final Link Up for Pink - Linking Party card and would like to personally thank everyone that has been involved, whether it is posting your creation, donating prizes, or giving your support.  It has been another fantastic year and I am looking forward for our 4th Anniversary.  So here is my card and again, thanks for your support.

It has been a pleasure being a Design Team Member with some very awesome ladies.  You've been lots of fun and have created some fantastic cards.   The one lady that I want to give a huge Thank You to is Yolie for all the work she does, the time she donates, the creations she makes, getting  super generous sponsors, just giving her all for a very special cause.  And not to mention, keeping all of us in line.  LOL - that's probably the hardest part of it all.

So glad you stopped by to visit and will be looking forward to you visiting again soon.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless

The Sand Dollar Legend

Hi, here I am again with a card for Challenges 4 Everybody.  I had to choose a digi to create with from our sponsor Oak Pond Creations and I decided I would choose the Sand Dollar.  I guess it's because living in New Orleans and in the surrounding area most of my life, we often visited the Mississippi Gulf Coast and love walking on the beach, it went for miles and miles and was just beautiful white sand and we would always look for shells and of course, any other interesting objects or creatures.

During one of my visits I stopped in a little "Sea Shell Shop" and bought a sand dollar that had a sunset painted on it, shades of oranges and yellows and a seagull flying and it was framed with the story of the sand dollar, just beautiful.  Believe me, that was many, many years ago.... I do mean many.  LOL and it is still with me through the moves I have made and looks as good as new.  Just one of those cherished things you take very good care of.  So, here is my card and I hope you enjoy the "Legend of the Sand Dollar".

The image is from Oak Pond Creations, our fantastic sponsor.

Everything on my card is from my stash.
I did print the picture of the Poinsettia to show the backside of the shell.
The doves are actually out of another shell that I had, but I had to break it :( so I could show that there actually are 5 doves inside the shell.

I hope you like my card and enjoyed the "Legend of the Sand Dollar" and will be looking forward to seeing your "love comments" to inspire me to continue and hope you visit often as there are more cards waiting their turn to be posted as well as some images on the scrappin' table wondering, ummmm... wonder what she's gonna do with me.  LOL

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless.

Yes, here we go with Link Up for Pink Breast Cancer Awareness for the 3rd year.  Last year we had 540 entries posted and I can't wait to see how many we are going to have this year!!   All the Scrappers need to get their scrappin' goodies out, stop hoarding :)) and saving the pretty paper and start making your creations.  This huge blog event is to let everyone involved in Breast Cancer know that we support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer, those that have won the battle and are Survivors and we honor those that have lost and praying for a cure. So without further ado lets start the party!!

Here is my first card being posted for the Fighters, Have Courage.

The image is from one of our very generous sponsors, The Stamping Chef. She is awesome and was great to color.
I used a Spellbinders die Majestic Labels 25 for frame and sentiment.
I colored with Copic Markers.
All paper was my stash, you know, hoarding.  ; )
I thought an easel card showed the image great!

Okay, it's your turn to post your creation!!  AND... there are prizes galore to be won by some very generous sponsors.  I mean, AWESOME sponsors, and you don't want to miss out.  YOU could be one of the many, many winners!!!  So get going!!

Happy Fall

Hello again, I am back to post my card for the Sunshine Mail Children and I chose "Happy Fall" because it's such a beautiful time of the year.  We had a little of a cool morning here in Mississippi and I thought I could just smell the Autumn air.  (Or just wishing for cooler weather maybe.  ;) .  The colors of the leaves are just breath taking when the change begins.  My favorite time of year!! Okay, so here we go!

The image is from our generous sponsor Fresh Brewed Designs, called "So Thankful", cutie of an image with the little smiling acorns.

The fall leaves are from Michael's.
The cardstock is from my stash.
The background was embossed with Spellbinders Bossabilities, EL009
The die cuts are from Spellbinders, Classic Oval and Scalloped Oval.
I colored the image with Copics Markers.

Well, that completes this post and I hope you have enjoyed your visit and come back often to visit.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless
