You Da Bomb!!

Hi, my scrappy friends, I am glad you are back to check out my latest creation.  I'm here with another post for Through the Purple Haze Challenge, "Bingo".  I think our sponsor gave us some really cute images and I hope you like my card, "You Da Bomb".  So here's my card and we'll talk more about it in a few.

Our awesome sponsor is " The Stamping' Chef" and my image is called "Rockabilly Boom" and I think she is a real cutie.  Check out their shop and you will be amazed at all the fantastic digis they have.  I could just buy them all.  They are adorable!!!!

I used brown and tan cardstock from my stash for matting the card.
The patterned paper is some I have been hoarding for a while...LOL, it's from Masterpiece Studios, Nostalgic Military.
I colored my image with my Copic Markers and her clothing is paper pieced with some red and white polka dot paper I had in my stash.  If I were younger I would wear one like that myself.  : )  I thought it was a cute touch.
I added two embellishments from K& Company, Americana, but I did adhere my sentiment on one and placed it in the upper left-hand corner and then put the second one at the bottom right-hand corner.
My image was die cut with a Spellbinders Die.
The ingredients I used for my Bingo was:  Sentiment, Image, Glitter (the Blue Glitter paper behind the heart), and Bling (the Star on the heart).  I used four, but only 3 is required.

So that is all the ingredients and how to's for that card and I hope you enjoyed your visit.  I would very much appreciate if you would leave me a comment below.  You are my inspiration!

Our next Challenge has started and it's time for you to get your scrappy treasures out and make a creation to enter.  Here is the Bingo Challenge you need to follow.

Away We Gooooooooooo

Hello again, here I am with a card for someone going on a cruise maybe?  Wish it were me!!!!  This is a cute Vintage picture that's available from Milk and Coffee Digi Elements and is for a Challenge for Through the Purple Haze.

I used paper from a 6x6 inch paper pack "Farm House Paper Company, Fair Skies", and printed an anchor from my files, colored it with my Copics to kind of give it a metal look,  fussy cut it and adhered it to the card with some foam tape to pop it up. The Bon Voyage sentiment was printed from my computer and I just inked around the edges of the paper to give a little vintage look.  A little jute for a nice touch and that is about it.  It was so easy with the printed picture from Milk and Coffee Digi Elements and they have an awesome prize of 5 Images for the winner!!  Now, that is one awesome prize!!!

Two in one day... the mojo is flowing :)

Hi, today I have  posted not 1, but 2 cards for Through the Purple Haze Challenge.  I would like to say first of all, that free digis are available from our very generous sponsor, Crafts U Print.  I didn't want to forget to mention that... very important to all scrappers... we do love freebies.  LOL    Lets get a look at the card I made with my digi.

She is one little cutie and she was fun to use.  I used a sheet of paper from my stash from Recollections, "Have a Cupcake".  I thought that was quite a find... sure came in handy.  :)
I used a hot pink sheet of cardstock also from my stash to mat the paper and image.  I added a piece of lace (stash) and a crocheted flower from Spare Parts. (O, yes, I am a hoarder. LOL)  The center of the flower is a button from Recollections.  I colored my image with my Copic Markers and added a few bling "hearts" and rhinestones on the cup cake for sprinkles.  I mean, who has cupcakes without sprinkles on top?  LOL

My image as I mentioned is from Crafts U Print and you need to visit their shop and see all the cuties they have and some really cool digital sets.    And while you're there get your digi and join in the fun at Through the Purple Haze Challenge.  Hope to see ya there!!

Happy Anniversary... woo hoo

Hi my Scrappy friends, here's a little Sexy Cupid Angel all ready to shoot that arrow and show some love for her hubby or boyfriend for some Anniversary Wishes. This is my post for the new challenge at Through the Purple Haze and I think she is a really cute image.  So here she is and let me know what you think.

Our images are supplied by our generous sponsor, Kenny K, and her name is Sexy Cupid Angel.  You can check out the adorable images at the shop and oh, gosh!!, you will shop til' you drop.

 Kenny K

I decided to do an anniversary card since Valentines is past and wanted to use this adorable, sexy little angel.
I started with Hot Pink card stock from my stash, and used the patterned paper from Theresa Collins, "Posh" paper pack and though it was perfect to set the mood.

I colored the image with my Copic Markers and lightly added some Star Dust Stickles to her feathers.
I cut two circles, a pink and a white and had printed my sentiment on the white circle and added some black velvet lace from, Webster's Pages, "Designer's Trims" and decided to put that around the circle.  Still needed more.... ummmm.... looked up at a basket on the shelf and Oh, My.... FEATHERS!!!  YES!!! that's the added touch I needed!!  So I added a couple of black and a couple of black with pink polka dots.  All done, and was pleased.  Hope you are too!

Now, you need to get your creation posted on Through the Purple Haze and you could be the lucky winner of 3 digis from Kenny K!!  Wow.... now that's one awesome prize!!!

Where's There's Life.....

.... There's Hope.  Hi, I am back with a new post for Challenges 4 Everybody and found a beautiful image at Bugaboo's Store.  It's sort of an easy and simple card, but I do love the message it sends.  I hope you like it too!!  Your turn to have a look!

I posted two different positions of the card to show that it was 3D as the flowers were cut out and adhered on top of the printed image.  Just for a nice "pop"!  I used card stock from my stash and colored the images with my Copic Markers.  Just a very soft coloring I thought would be nice.  I glued some dark yellow rhinestones in the center of the opened Lily and that is it!  I hope you like it, I thought it was a very nice image with sentiments that I chose from our Very Generous Sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps.
