Shop til you drop!!

Hi all, glad you're back to visit.  If you are here for the first time, please feel free to browse around and I hope you enjoy what you see.  Well, I am back this time with my inspiration card for Through the Purple Haze Challenge "Button It Up".  So I did just that, but I found some of the cutest buttons!!!!  So here is my card and I decided to also do the inside for the challenge.  Let's get going!!

Since I decided to make a Birthday Card and I used the sentiment "Shop Til You Drop" I also made it a gift card and have a pocket for a credit card or cash.

So here is what I used:
Cardstock is Recollections from my stash.
The die is Martha Stewart.
The pink ruffled ribbon is from my stash also, which probably is from Hobby Lobby.
The patterned paper is a Recollections 12"x12" Paper Pad "All Girl".
The three Bling Buttons on the card front is from Close to My Heart "Bling Assortment".
The inside Purse Buttons are from Dress It Up, "Posh Purses".
And last but definitely not least is the image from our generous sponsor, Lacy Sunshine, "Daisy Delight" and that she is, a true delight and just too cute.  I colored her with my Copic Markers.

Duck in here.......

Hey, it's me again with another post, but this time I'm here for Challenges 4 Everybody, "Anything Goes" and I received a cute duck image supplied by our sponsor and I thought it was just that...  so cute and ducky!  LOL  So here is my card and then we'll get to chatting here some more.

I want to first thank our generous sponsor for the digis supplied for this challenge.

They are really an awesome sponsor.  Please drop by their shop and check out the digis.

I started my card with coloring the images with my Copic Markers.  I added Diamond Glaze to their bills and feet to give them an little extra dimension.
Okay, now what to do with my little ducks.... Ummm... Okay, I guess I need a nest, how else will we get that big egg hatched?  So we all know that ducks nests are built out of grasses, leaves and down feathers pulled from their breast. (I looked this up.)  Well, I have feathers... down feathers..NO.  ;)  I printed a picture I had of a grassy bundle and colored it green.  I added a few little leaves from my stash.  Okay, you got the idea.
So check out their little nest... LOL
I then added a butterfly from my stash.
The sentiment I printed and punched out with punches from Stampin' Up.
The top and bottom borders were also punched with a Martha Stewart punch... don't remember the name, but in looking for a punch that one caught my eye as being little duck feet... Sorry, Martha.  :)
All cardstock used is from my stash.

Now, how about getting a digi and making your creation to post in our challenge?  You could be the next winner of some digis.   Get your mojo going and enter!!

Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit and got a chuckle or two.  If you're new to my blog, please feel free to look around... never can tell what you will find that strikes your fancy.  If you need info on anything, please feel free to contact me at: www.classycardcorner.com  And I really don't mind if I get some comments... it makes my day!!

Well, that's it for today, but I will be back soon with another creation or two.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless

Lullaby and good night.....

Hi my friends, I am back with a new card for Through the Purple Haze Challenge "Anything but a Square".  Well, there is definitely no square in this card.  LOL  I got dizzy going in circles.  LOL  I decided to make an easel card, but couldn't take the picture on an angle to show it because the embellishments looked sort of distorted. I am so glad you stopped by again and if you're a newbie here, just look around and enjoy your visit. So let's get started here and I'll tell you a little about the card.

First, I used a doily from my stash.  I then cut a doily from my MTC files on my Zing and then cut a scalloped circle with a Spellbinders die which was my image. I used my Copic markers for coloring the image.  Then off to my flower stash to add some for an embellishment.  Then decided I needed ribbon.. after all it's a girly card... Then I decided to add some pearls in the scalloped circles on the doily.   Ummmm... I thought okay, that's enough.  I love the image that our awesome sponsor, Crafty Sentiments Designs, has provided us with.  You need to check out their shop.  Oh, soooo hard to choose which digis you want.  I always want them all.  (Glad I don't need a rack to store them.)  :)  So go have a look and see what digis you just can't live without... LOL
 crafty sentiments
They also have lots of other products, just go check them out!

And be sure to check out the Challenge Blog at Through the Purple Haze for some inspiration cards made by the DT members.  Awesome!!!

So why not get your favorite digi and make a card, and oh, be sure it's not a square, and get it entered to win a fabby prize of 3 digis.  Now, that is one fantastic prize! So get your mojo going and join in the fun at Through the Purple Haze Challenge.  Happy Crafting!   See you there!!

Happy Spring!!!

And today really looks and feels like spring!!! .... I live in the deep south of  USA in Mississippi and if any of you have watched TV or have seen posts on Facebook,  you know what has been going on here... Tornados all around, but I am very Blessed as all we had were a few very heavy thunderstorms, the really bad stuff went Northeast.  My heart goes out for the people that have lost everything and also some family members.  God be with them.

So back to Sunshine Mail, here is my newest creation about our theme "Spring" and the image is just perfect for that title.   So here we go.....

All of the materials used were from my stash except the sentiment from Just Rite and the punch for the sentiment from Stampin' Up.  The image came from our generous sponsor,
 Meljen's Designs
