It's been too long.....

Yes, indeed, it has been too long that I have not been here or anywhere else, life just gets crazy sometimes.  So I am back and hopefully will stay and get some cards posted.  This month at Through the Purple Haze is for Halloween of course and scary too!  So lets get going here.

This image is from East Wind and is the Halloween With with Black Kitty.

 EastWind

Just about everything I used was from my hoarded scrapbooking stash.  LOL
The paper I used was from Close to My Heart - My Reflections- Scaredy Cat
The Black Mesh, Spider, Boo Clothespin, Bats were all from stash too!
I colored my image with Copic Markers.
And the above card was the final outcome.

So it's time for my scrappy friends to get into their stash and get your card posted in the Challenge at Through the Purple Haze "Halloween".

I have to share this.... scary but funny!
As I am here typing my blog this awful clacking sound starts and I am looking everywhere, I had no idea what it was or where it was coming from and my daughter in the other side of the house comes in the scraproom and is asking what is that noise... as you walked around the room the noise sounded like it was coming from the other side. I said, oh, it's coming from the laundry room, nothing there either.   Finally, she looked up and there was a balloon she received for her birthday hooked in the fan and it was just making that awful noise with the ceiling.   It really was scary and was very loud.

Well, my friends, I am glad you stopped by and I hope to see you again real soon.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless.
Hugs

Funny you asked

Hello and thanks for coming to visit.  If you're been here before thanks for returning and if you're new, get a cuppa, have a seat, and feel free to browse around and hope you enjoy your visit.

This months challenge theme Through the Purple Haze is "Funny" and that we have as you will see by the inspiration cards created by our talented DT members.  So enough said and lets get to looking at my "Funny" and crazy creation.  I got a giggle or two making it and I hope it puts a smile on your face too!

So here is my cute cow that our Sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps supplied me with.

 Bugaboo stamps

Oh, and that's only one of many to choose from.  Check out their store and see all the great digis they have and for all occasions.  Awesome place to shop!!!

I just happen to have a sheet of cloud paper in my stash and thought perfect for my angel cow.  :-)
I colored my image with my Copic markers.
The Holy Cow sentiment is part of the Cow stamp set and I being old as mud, thought my sentiment was just the perfect sentiment to finish this card.
I matted everything in black except the image mat that I used the "utter color" for the image.  :-)   Yep, I have a warped sense of humor some time.  LOL

Okay, now get your image and make your creation and get it entered into the
Through the Purple Haze Challenge...." FUNNY".  You could be our next winner!!!

Well, my friends that's all I have for today
so until next time

Happy 4th of July!!  I hope all of you got to celebrate and enjoy the day.
Today I am posting a cute little miss doing some celebrating too and she is cheering for the USA for the Brown Sugar Challenge.

My recipe for this card is:

Solid cardstock out of my stash, red and navy.
The God Bless America patterned paper is out of a pack and I have looked and looked and it's really put away good because I couldn't find it.  So I don't know the company.  Of course if you would see my scraproom you would understand!

The image is from Stichey Bear's Digi Outlet, BB-Stripes.  She is a cutie!

Stitchy Bear Stamps

I colored her with my Copic markers.
The embellishment is for K&C Company, Americana.
The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Die.

Mix all the ingredients well and there you go!!!
