Happy Thoughts....

... and I hope that is what you have when you come by to visit my blog to see the creations I have done for Link Up for Pink.  I was wondering what I would have for an inspiration and when I looked out of the window of my Scrap Room and there were the Hummingbirds making a fuss by the feeder.  They definitely don't like sharing. :-)   So here we go!

 

My daughter and I are in the process of moving and when I walked into the scrap room lo' and behold she has most of it packed! LOL  So I gathered up the birdhouse stamp from Heartfelt, a few sheets of cardstock from my stash, a little bling out of my drawer and a Stampin' Up punch for the sentiment.  Oh, the sentiment is from CTMH.  The coloring was done with my Copic Markers. 

 

 I will tell you, the Scrap Room has more stuff to be packed then the whole house!!  LOL  But our new Scrap room with be much larger and really organized (I hope) so we can actually see what we have.  Some things just get put aside and then one day you happen to see it while searching for something else and say, Oh, Wow, I really could have used this last week or last month.  LOL  So our move is planned for approximately the middle of June and then after we get settled in I will post pictures of our new scrapping habitat.  Hope all works out as planned.

Hello again, glad you stopped by to see what's going on here in my blog world.  I am posting my card for Link Up for Pink sending Best Wishes to everyone, especially to my "Special Friends" who are fighting the battle of Breast Cancer.  I hope you enjoy my card and it brings a smile.

Some time was put into this card.  I was in a creating mood, more so than usual, so I decided I would get out some die cuts and embossing folders and go through my stash and get some "stuff" together and make a really "fancy" card.  ;)

Patterned paper and reverse solid paper is from Anna Griffin, Peyton Collection.
Patterned paper with rosebuds from my stash.
Die cut (pink) is a Spellbinders die.
Die Cut (ivory) is a Lifestyle Crafts die.
The Sentiment die cuts (3) are Spellbinders.
The embossing folder is from Sizzix.
Flowers are Recollection flowers.
Seam binding from my stash.
Stampin' Up ink.

Well, I think that covers everything I used and it was great fun cutting and putting all the pieces together.  Sort of like doing a puzzle. :)

Happy Mother's Day

Hi, Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there.  I hope you have a wonderful day!  Here is my creation that I made especially for you.

I thought a vintage card would be nice for today.  So here is my card and this is what I used:

The patterned paper is from Authentic, Lovely Collection, Fancy 2 sided paper.

The lace and applique were from my stash.
The image was printed from Pinterest, no name shown.
The punches for the sentiment are from Stampin' Up.
The stamp for sentiment is from Just Rite.

I hope you enjoyed my card and it brought a smile to you face, if so, I have accomplished my goal.  Please leave me some love because you are my inspiration.

Hang In There

Hi all my friends, here I am with a cutie of a card that my Stampin' Up friend showed me, so I changed a few things and here it is.

I just thought this was such a bright and cheerful card that I decided I would use it here.

 

The card was made from scraps from my stash. 

The stamp was from Just Rite.

The embossing folder is Square Lattice from Stampin' Up.
