Here we go!! Happy 3rd Anniversary!!

Yes, here we go with Link Up for Pink Breast Cancer Awareness for the 3rd year.  Last year we had 540 entries posted and I can't wait to see how many we are going to have this year!!   All the Scrappers need to get their scrappin' goodies out, stop hoarding :)) and saving the pretty paper and start making your creations.  This huge blog event is to let everyone involved in Breast Cancer know that we support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer, those that have won the battle and are Survivors and we honor those that have lost and praying for a cure. So without further ado lets start the party!!

Here is my first card being posted for the Fighters, Have Courage.

The image is from one of our very generous sponsors, The Stamping Chef. She is awesome and was great to color.
I used a Spellbinders die Majestic Labels 25 for frame and sentiment.
I colored with Copic Markers.
All paper was my stash, you know, hoarding.  ; )
I thought an easel card showed the image great!

Okay, it's your turn to post your creation!!  AND... there are prizes galore to be won by some very generous sponsors.  I mean, AWESOME sponsors, and you don't want to miss out.  YOU could be one of the many, many winners!!!  So get going!!

So my friends, that's it for now, but I will be back in a few days with more good news and of course another card.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you come back often.  Please leave a comment because you are where I get my inspiration.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless
Hugs
Joanie

Best Wishes

Hello again, glad you stopped by to see what's going on here in my blog world.  I am posting my card for Link Up for Pink sending Best Wishes to everyone, especially to my "Special Friends" who are fighting the battle of Breast Cancer.  I hope you enjoy my card and it brings a smile.

Some time was put into this card.  I was in a creating mood, more so than usual, so I decided I would get out some die cuts and embossing folders and go through my stash and get some "stuff" together and make a really "fancy" card.  ;)

Patterned paper and reverse solid paper is from Anna Griffin, Peyton Collection.
Patterned paper with rosebuds from my stash.
Die cut (pink) is a Spellbinders die.
Die Cut (ivory) is a Lifestyle Crafts die.
The Sentiment die cuts (3) are Spellbinders.
The embossing folder is from Sizzix.
Flowers are Recollection flowers.
Seam binding from my stash.
Stampin' Up ink.

Well, I think that covers everything I used and it was great fun cutting and putting all the pieces together.  Sort of like doing a puzzle. :)

I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I did creating it and if you did, please leave some love.  Remember you are my inspiration.

We have a new Link Up for Pink Challenge #13 starting up tomorrow, May 23rd.  I hope all of the scrappers out there get their "stuff" together and get your projects or cards posted here.  Remember, you are supporting those fighting for their life because of Breast Cancer and also, we have some really generous, awesome sponsors,  SK Digis and Lovebug Creations donating some great prizes for the winner of the challenge.  What more can I say except it's going to be awesome!!!

Well, that's all I have so
Until next time take Care
and God Bless.
Hugs

The cardstock was from my stash, as well as the ribbon.
The stamps and dies are from Spellbinders.
The punch for the sentiment is from Stampin' Up
The flowers and leaves were colored with Copic Markers.

Well, that's all about my card.  I hope you liked it and please leave me some love because you are my inspiration.

LOOK INT0 . . . . .

.... the crystal ball and see that a Cure is on the way soon.  I pray and hope that a cure will be found in the near future.  This is my little fortune teller, that I thought was just adorable, that I have used for my Link Up for Pink creation.  I hope you like her and she makes you smile.  She's pretty sassy looking, don't you think?  ;)

I used a digi image from Sassy Studio Designs, and her name is Fortune Teller.  I used a very old paper pack I came across while cleaning my scrap room, well, sort of cleaning it...  lol  It is SEI, Aunt Gert's Garden. I used a new Spellbinder's die Fleur de Lis, also a Spellbinder's die around the image which was the Scalloped Oval and of course she was colored with my Copic Markers.  Her crystal ball has been coated with Diamond Glaze and it makes it 3D and very shiny, but very hard to get the look in the picture.

Now for some good news!!!!

Challenge 11 is coming up soon, March 21st and I hope you make a creation and get it posted to help support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer and by doing so you are eligible to win a fabby prize of 3 digi stamps plus a bonus prize from Fresh Brewed Designs.  Now that is one awesome prize from a fantastic sponsor.

Well, that's it for today,
until next time,
Take care and God Bless
Hugs,
Joanie

Good News????

Hi, this Link Up for Pink card is for all the survivors who have won the battle.  I wish everyone would get that great news because a cure has been found.  I thought my card would be a great celebration card.  I hope you enjoy it.

A little info now on what I used.  My background patterned papers are from Close to My Heart, the striped being from "Dotty for You", and the flowered from my most favorite pack "Mayberry". Mayberry is retired now, but I made sure I had quite a supply on hand before it was gone for good.  It's just a happy paper pack, cheerful, and just fun to use.  The ribbon is from my stash.  The die cuts are Spellbinders Ovals.  The cute stamps I used are from Stamps of Life, "Owls2Love" and is a really awesome stamp set.  It also has some really cute sentiments to complete your card.

So to all the Scrappers out in blogland get your scrappin' started and enter your creation in
and you can win some awesome prizes!

Well, my scrappy friends that's all I have to share with you today,
so until next time,
Take care and God Bless
Hugs

I hope and pray that everyone fighting the battle can say soon they have won because a cure has been found.

My Favorite Hobby is.........

Good Morning, glad you're here to check things out today.  Get yourself a cup and have a seat and see what I have in store for you today.

I have a little surprise for you today though, I didn't make a card for my
Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge #30 creation.
Our theme this week is, "What is Your Favorite Hobby, Sport, etc." and of course you know what my favorite hobby is, I am here almost everyday.  ; ))

Well, anyway, I decided to take my little container that was sitting over on a desk all glittered up and not being used, and decided for my favorite hobby, I would use one of my favorite stamps, "Loralie - Crafty Girl" from Loralie Art Stamps, They Just Make You Smile.  I stamped her, colored her, did some fussy cutting and used my Spellbinders dies for the ovals and stuck her on a stick in the pot. Well, that looked sort of dumb...lol, so I made a few "Flower Pops" and stuck them around the pot and I thought she looked pretty cute and she had her scrappin' tote and stuff  all ready to head on over to
"Pause Dream Enjoy" to do some creations. ; )

Now, if you go on over to Pause Dream Enjoy and post your creation there's a really good prize waiting for a lucky winner to claim!!

Our generous sponsor this week is:

And if you're the lucky winner you get to choose
Any 3 items from the Squigglefly!!

I hope to see your creations being posted.  Good luck in the draw.

That's it from me today, but Y'all come back now,
until next time
Take care and God Bless.
Hugs
Joanie
