Here we go!! Happy 3rd Anniversary!!

Yes, here we go with Link Up for Pink Breast Cancer Awareness for the 3rd year.  Last year we had 540 entries posted and I can't wait to see how many we are going to have this year!!   All the Scrappers need to get their scrappin' goodies out, stop hoarding :)) and saving the pretty paper and start making your creations.  This huge blog event is to let everyone involved in Breast Cancer know that we support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer, those that have won the battle and are Survivors and we honor those that have lost and praying for a cure. So without further ado lets start the party!!

Here is my first card being posted for the Fighters, Have Courage.

The image is from one of our very generous sponsors, The Stamping Chef. She is awesome and was great to color.
I used a Spellbinders die Majestic Labels 25 for frame and sentiment.
I colored with Copic Markers.
All paper was my stash, you know, hoarding.  ; )
I thought an easel card showed the image great!

Okay, it's your turn to post your creation!!  AND... there are prizes galore to be won by some very generous sponsors.  I mean, AWESOME sponsors, and you don't want to miss out.  YOU could be one of the many, many winners!!!  So get going!!

So my friends, that's it for now, but I will be back in a few days with more good news and of course another card.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you come back often.  Please leave a comment because you are where I get my inspiration.

So until next time,
Take care and God Bless
Hugs
Joanie

I Miss You

Hi all of my blogland friends, so happy to have you visiting again.  This is my post for Challenges 4 Everybody Challenge 30 and I decided to do a little different card and why ???? I decided to do one that is very time consuming because I knew this was the week I would be out of town for a few days, but.....  Duh,  yes I am a blonde, I am old, and I guess I like challenges.  ; )   But I had the image colored, some of the ribbon looped, so there really wasn't too much to complete when I got back.  I hope you like my creation and hope you leave me some comments because you are where I get much of my inspiration.  So here it is:

I think the image is adorable.  She is from our generous sponsor Sherri Baldy, Scrapbook Stamp Society, and she is called Millie Mae

I think she's a real cutie and the sentiment I used inside the card was "I Miss You" and thought she was perfect.

All the ribbon and the flowers are from my stash.
The solid background cardstock is from Coredinations
The Patterned paper is from Basic Grey 6x6 pack, Fiction
The image was colored with my Copics

And for the Awesome News!!!
The winner will receive 5 images!!!  How awesome is that?

 Photobucket

Get your card or creation posted and YOU could be the next winner!!!
So get Scrappin' to make it Happin'   !!!!!

I hope you enjoyed your visit and until next time,
Take Care and God Bless
Hugs,
Joanie

If so, here's wishing you a very Happy Birthday and many, many more to come from me and my friends at Link Up for Pink.  I have posted a special card for your special day, I hope you enjoy and it brings a big smile to your face.

A little info on the scrapping goodies I used.  LOL  I used pattern paper from Hobby Lobby as well as the cardstock.  The stamp I used of the door is  was from Crafter's Companion, Adorables, Summer Collection.  The stamp used for the girl is from Fresh Brewed Designs and her name is Surprise.  I think she went really great with the stamped door image.  The ribbon and stones are from my stash.  The Happy Birthday stamp is from Stampin' Up and the stamped images were colored with my Copic Markers.  That should take care of all the products used.  Any questions, just ask and I'll be glad to get back with you.  ; )

LOOK INT0 . . . . .

.... the crystal ball and see that a Cure is on the way soon.  I pray and hope that a cure will be found in the near future.  This is my little fortune teller, that I thought was just adorable, that I have used for my Link Up for Pink creation.  I hope you like her and she makes you smile.  She's pretty sassy looking, don't you think?  ;)

I used a digi image from Sassy Studio Designs, and her name is Fortune Teller.  I used a very old paper pack I came across while cleaning my scrap room, well, sort of cleaning it...  lol  It is SEI, Aunt Gert's Garden. I used a new Spellbinder's die Fleur de Lis, also a Spellbinder's die around the image which was the Scalloped Oval and of course she was colored with my Copic Markers.  Her crystal ball has been coated with Diamond Glaze and it makes it 3D and very shiny, but very hard to get the look in the picture.

Now for some good news!!!!

Challenge 11 is coming up soon, March 21st and I hope you make a creation and get it posted to help support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer and by doing so you are eligible to win a fabby prize of 3 digi stamps plus a bonus prize from Fresh Brewed Designs.  Now that is one awesome prize from a fantastic sponsor.

Well, that's it for today,
until next time,
Take care and God Bless
Hugs,
Joanie

It's Raining Love

Wow, what a way to start a day....to just be showered with love.  Well, that's what I have here for you today on Link Up for Pink for Challenge #10 and you still have time to get your creation in to win a fabby prize and to show your support for those undergoing treatment for breast cancer.  I feel so very blessed.  So here's my little cutie catching some of the love.

I think she is such a sweetie and the image is from Lacy Sunshine by artist Heather Valentin and her name is Emily Showers of Love.

For some reason I couldn't get a clear picture of the verse, so here is what it says and it is by M.S. Lowndes from www.HeavensInspiration.com
Just a word for you
To let you know
I’m thinking of you, today
I want to encourage you
In your walk,
To press on in God each day

I know it’s not easy
And the way can be hard,
But I will be there for you
And know that the Lord
Is with you each step
And His love will get you through.

The patterned paper I used was from a 6x6 paper pack from Authenitique, Seasons: Spring, very pretty pack.  The flowers and butterfly came from Michael's some time ago and was in my stash.  I colored my image with Copic Markers, which I love.

Well, that is all I have for today, but will be back soon with the announcement saying who the Winner is for Challenge #10.   If you haven't gotten your creation in you still have time!!!!  Hurry, Hurry!!

Until next time, take care and
God Bless.
Hugs,
Joanie

Looking for a Cure

Hi, my name is Joan and I am here for Link Up for Pink with a new friend, Mindy Bookworm from Scrapbook Stamp Society.  She seems to have some very thick books and I think maybe she is involved in looking for a cure for those battling to win the fight with Breast Cancer. We hope and pray a cure is very close by and you can win.  YOU have to win!!!  And congratulations to those that have survived after a long and hard fight.

So here is my little friend and I hope she is a little  pick-me-up and brings a smile to you.

I want to thank those of you that visit here regularly and welcome to the newcomers, I just hope all of you return often to visit because I enjoy you stopping by.

So until next time, please take care,

Hope

I am so excited to post this card as I was a February winner at Link Up For Pink and won a really cute stamp "Hope" from Paper Makeup Stamps. We all need to get involved with LUFP as it is for a great cause, Breast Cancer. If you or anyone you know has or had this they need Love, Encouragement, Hope, Strength, Support and most of all Prayers. Please become involved and send in your creations. Two great ladies, Yolie and Celeste, started this just as a blog and it has become one of the greatest and the only one recognized by the American Cancer Society.
Congrats to these ladies!!

Okay, I will stop gabbing and bragging and show you my creation using my new stamp.

Okay, my friends, click on over to Link Up For Pink and look at all the fabby things and OH, did I forget to tell you they have fantastic prizes you can win too! Woo hoo, how cool is that?

Once again, I hope you enjoyed my creation and it pleases me when you leave a comment. Thanks and take care and God Bless.

Bouquet Birgitta, a cutie

I decided to use my Swiss Pixies stamp from C.C. Designs and her name is Bouquet Birgitta and is a real cutie.  She is wishing everyone that is under the weather or has an illness to Get Well Soon.  The weather here in Alabama has quite a few  people with the yuckies, so I hope she helps bring a smile to their faces.

I have made a 6" round card with an easel back so she can just sit on a table or shelf and make them feel happy when they look at all the beautiful flowers that have bloomed and she has a bouquet with fresh picked flowers ready to give to someone.  She is sitting on the bench just waiting for that person to come by.

Until next time, take care and God Bless.
